In 2012 Malibu City Council demonstrated a commitment to the arts by appointing five members of the community and one ex-officio member to the Malibu Cultural Arts Commission. In 2021, the Council approved the name change from the Malibu Cultural Arts Commission to Malibu Arts Commission (Ordinance No. 482).

Cultural Arts Commission Meetings The Cultural Arts Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 9:00 AM.
